1. What This Service Provides
Louisville Residents Directory describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, portals, libraries, archives, and directory collections connected with Louisville, Boulder County, and Colorado. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with a city, county, state agency, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Lawful Personal Use
Use the pages only for lawful purposes. You may not use the directory or anything reached through it to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit fraud, identity theft, or another unlawful act
- Make a decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions
- Scrape, republish, or copy site content at scale
- Disrupt, probe, or interfere with site security or operation
3. No Consumer Reports
The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing published here, and nothing returned by a linked search provider, is a consumer report. None of it may be used to assess eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose covered by the FCRA.
4. Third-Party Destinations
County portals, state databases, libraries, archives, sponsored search tools, and other linked services operate under their own terms and notices. Louisville Residents Directory does not control their content, availability, data handling, pricing, or search results.
5. Information Without Warranty
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. No warranty is made that a fact, fee, URL, coverage year, or external portal is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Confirm important information with the custodian office.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the directory or an outside resource, including a decision made from a record found through a linked route.
7. Your Responsibility
You agree to defend and indemnify the operators from claims, demands, losses, and reasonable attorney fees arising from your unlawful use of the directory, misuse of a record, or violation of these terms.
8. Copyright and Linking
The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the site operators and are protected by copyright. A reader may link to a page and quote a brief attributed excerpt. Full-page republication and systematic copying are not permitted without written permission.
9. Changes
The operators may revise these terms by posting a new version. Continued use after the revised text appears means the updated terms apply.
10. Access Restrictions
Access may be blocked or limited for a user who breaches these terms, abuses the service, attacks its security, or uses it unlawfully. That restriction may occur without advance notice.
11. Colorado Law
These terms are governed by Colorado law, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. The Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-200.1-205 and related Article 72 provisions, governs requests to the public custodian and does not turn this private reference into a government records office. Colorado privacy rights are addressed by the Colorado Privacy Act, C.R.S. §§6-1-1301 et seq., where that statute applies.
12. Severability
If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
